Marian Days is a special time for our Catholic community to come together in prayer, celebration, and connection — centered around Our Lady of La Vang, who appeared to offer comfort and strength to her people in a time of deep suffering. Her message of hope still speaks to us today.
That’s why we’re inviting all youth and young adults to be part of this track — a day filled with faith, fellowship, and fun. There will be inspiring speakers, time for worship and prayer, interactive booths, games, music, and plenty of moments to connect with others from all over the diocese and beyond.
Whether you’re new to Marian Days or you’ve been coming for years, this is a chance to grow deeper in your faith, build community, and experience the beauty of our Catholic Church.
Group Leader responsibilities:
1. Submit a full roster of your participants with names, emergency contacts, and any allergy/medical info. Make a copy of this sheet & share it with mariandaysyth@gmail.com
2. Point-of-contact with Marian Days Youth Team: You’ll receive important updates and reminders leading up to the event, including pre-Marian Days gatherings or activities.
3. Keep your group on track: Check in your group. Make sure your participants arrive on time and know where to go throughout the day.
4. Be present and engaged: Help supervise your youth during large group activities (icebreakers, games, transitions), and help keep the energy high and positive.
5. Flexibility encouraged: If you bring both youth and young adults, you can switch out shifts with other chaperones or older youth who want to check out the Young Adult Track.
6. Attend a required orientation meeting in mid-June (details to come). This will help you feel prepared and get all your questions answered!
